In addition to the shampoo many vets insist that animals that have this disorder should have balanced diets as well as they are going through treatment. The best diet is full of adequate fatty acids which will help the animal through the necessary treatment. None of the treatments are evasive. Applying the shampoo is as simple as giving your animal a bath. You should follow up with your local vet about 4-6 weeks after having your pet on the regiment to ensure that the shampoo and the specified things you were told to do are working out good for your little bundle of joy.
